About Sean D Burke
Sean Burke is a Digital Design Technology Specialist with extensive experience in the architecture profession. He recently joined NBBJ in the role of BIM Implementation Lead, a firm-wide strategic position with oversight in the implementation of Revit, and related technologies. He is located in their Seattle office. He is considered a leading expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools for the design and construction industry, including Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Architecture (formerly known as Architectural Desktop). Strengths include: business process assessments, implementation planning and execution, facilitating change and transition in a dynamic workplace, and technical training, with passion for sustainable design. Capable of enabling motivating environments through strong written and verbal communication and management skills. He is currently working to obtain professional licensure and is a LEED™ Accredited Professional.
Sean is an experienced and motivating speaker, with two years presenting at Autodesk University. As a technical consultant, he has provided customized training for many firms using both Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Architecture throughout North America. Sean is a past organizer/co-chair of the Boston Society of Architects Autodesk User Group. He authored a series of Computer Based Training (CBT) learning tools for DVD and online. He has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University, in Rhode Island, and currently resides in the scenic Pacific Northwest with his lovely wife Betsy and two rambunctious dogs.
